The stock pinion will die eventually, I am yet to see a Robinson Racing one suffer the same fate.

..but I have left my mesh as factory from day one. Never touched the mesh set up as all, even...

That shouldn't cause a pinion to move as it's on the top of the TVP

I usually dust the bearings off and apply Acer bearing oil on them, seems to work real well.

Yeah well it's pretty apparant, bearing siezes, diff locks up but Bevel gear is still being pushed along by the transmission

Smallest gear has to give!

That is what I call a comprehensive tear down!

I'm still amazed by the number of pro nitro ppl wanting to stick a boot in on the Flux

if anything buying a Flux has made me want a Nitro...

Even then most servos only want 6 volts, but the standard Servo is quite fine, I mean these are a $50-$60 servo under the Futaba brand so it's not a cheap rubbishy one!

According to my DX3S (which monitors battery voltage in the rx, so tells me what the BEC is providing) it's a steady 6.1 volts.

I wouldn't worry with a BEC, the MMM uses a switching BEC and therefore generates very little (if any) heat, there really isn't that much of a benefit in it on that ESC.

I'd look at the Hitec TG...

It's interesting as I find that while people do break parts on 4s Lipo in the Flux it seems WAY more common on a 6s set up.

Personally I think that just because the ESC and motor can handle 6s...

How well do the batteries fit in the flux holders as I am looking at those same packs myself
