I thought the packers were used under the fuse fuel tank only for proper position of the tank mount. And were not used on final assembly to allow fuel tank to expand if needed. Thats a just a guess...

Dreamworks Prolink retracts and struts work and look great, but require some work to the airframe for perfect fit. Just retract mount needed trimming, everything else fit perfect.

What is the best way or what do most of you guys do when painting(or appling primer) your jet? Is it easier, or does it matter to paint the jet assembled(flaps, elevators, gear doors, hatch, etc.)...
