What is the best way to break-in an O.S. 95 AX ringed engine? There seems to be a lot of new information out there.

Also, what would be the best fuel brand...

That's where I have mine right now. Will test fly it hopefully soon. Depending on weather and work.
Should be a nice, relaxing sailplane.

Thanks Fred and Aeajr.

I modified my Radian during the winter, but haven't flown it yet. It's new.... :)

Used different control horns and clevises. Also swapped out the servos for HS -82...

Has anyone experimented with the CG on the Radian?

I think it's supposed to be 62 mm (approx 2.5") behind the leading edge, but that seems a bit nose heavy for thermaling?

Have an OS 91 FX (ringed engine) with about 70 or so flights on it.

Always run it a bit rich and with S&W 15% fuel.

Noticed that the cold compression is extremely weak when I manually flip...

That is surprising. Especially when the Twist 60 isn't a pattern plane, but can be very smooth (pilot able).
I like to do rolling circles and extreme flat spins with mine.;)

Not so with my Twist. I have many years experience and the CG set at 150mm is simply too tailheavy for many if not most people.
I originally had mine at 150mm and the ballooning was literally...
