I got the nav light lense off. I actualy managed to not cut or deform it! yay me! I had to however scrape around the outside of the led to help break it free of the glue holding it in to the wing tip...

Did you place the new resistors back in the same location? Or further down the wires? How did you do the nav light removal? I'm actualy thinking of spending the 200 smackers on the sun-vis lights...

oh yea, The prop is a 14 x 9 3-blade from master airscrew, with a 2.25" spinner from true turn. The ignition is from c&h, and in this config with the exhaust, it spins to 9,000rpm. Thats with it...

with the motor, ignition under the"dash", 3-4.8v 2700mah packs in the rear under the back window, and reciever dead center of the cockpit, and a 32oz fuel tank(empty), it came out to right at 13lbs....

And the exhaust I made. I used copper tubing and elbows and brazed with silver sauder, pollished it, and watched it turn colors when I ran it. So then I painted it with 1400 deg. ceramic paint....

I will post the pics this evening after work. And show the spacer/addapter made to mount the motor to the stock motor mount holes in the firewall, as well as the exhaust I made to fit inside the cowl.
