Dude your a noob, A123's hold there charge, like there is no drop in voltage and the power stays constant, right up to the point where they are discharged. They offer more punch aswell.

Hey you can go for Lipo's or A123 packs!

What you should do is this, buy the mamba max combo, and use the mamba esc for the stock hpi motor, since the mamba max can run brushed/brushless along...

I didnt go with the rear bumper but i have the front bumper... the screws they gave stripped the plastic when i screwed them in!

Ohwell its only the two top screws.....

Just not experienced with nimh's since i was out of the hobby when i used nimhs and nicads and when i returned i just turned to lipo's...
