For a large, 6' +, you should go with a J class, well over 6'. Newport 12 are 6' long exactly, but they're fiberglass and kind of hard to find, though there is a new manufacturer, kinda tough to get...

check out Vinces Newport 12 build here in sailbpats, pics of different decks. Careful with weight though, sailboats like weight down deep not above deck.

GRAB IT! You may need to replace the rudder and tube and get a new radio, but it will give you lots of relaxation, hopefully , and is worth a bit of work. I'd grab it and I have 5 boats already!
