7.4 max amps, with the mamba max 5700.

Didn't go 11V, because that speed is uncontrollable on the track. I over researched this, spent way to much time digging around, but I think I finally...

Ok...I'm commencing with a new strategy. I'm tired of buying things for my Losi and Evader, and figuring out later that I need something better.

For the batteries, we just went with MaxAmps...

We've just started racing them on a clay grand prix style track with lots of turns. First thing we did was get Step Pin tires, and lower the chasis by repositioning the shocks. Oil at 32.5, yellow...

Which Lipo did you get? What's your esc and motor on that thing?

I'm curious, as I'm upgrading and want to get a feel for what these things can do with different setups.

I'm looking at Lipo batteries...

Can most esc's handle 7.4 or 11.1 V or do you need to match it with the ESC?

What's going to be the advantage of 3S vs 2S?

I may do that if you promise to tune it and make it rock. I'll give the car and 1 lipo for 2 weeks if you use all your knowledge to tune the thing to the hilt!

I'm no expert. Guys on here know way more than me, but I'd bet the 17T has too much torque. I'm shocked your stock esc hasn't burned out...it shouldn't handle any more than 19t

I'd bet you're cranking the spur and pinion together too tight. When you put the 2 together, there needs to be a tiny bit of play between the two. I've made that mistake.
