Well I took her out for a post-crash maiden and it flew perfectly. I put the batter where I had it the first flights and all was good.

Man I love this plane.

Oh I'm definitely going to do that, but what about where the manual says it's supposed to be? I was also wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

I just bought the UMX Beast and the first several flights were just fine. I had put the 180mah battery just at the front of the battery tray.

I then tried to adjust the CG to where the manual...

I did a search, but it didn't come up with anything.

Off with the skii's and on with the 2 & 3/4" wheels. Here's some more flying. My gf told me to leave the noseovers in and liked the spot where the plane is "dancing", so I had to leave that in too....

Done. Ordered the parts from Great Hobbies though, as they are in Canada. And with express post, they will be here by the end of next week hopefully.

Then to get them all soldered up.

Ok. I think I know now. I basically need to get 3 ends then.

1. For replacement of the battery end - Deans Ultra Female.
2. For ESC - Deans Ultra Male.
3. For charger - Banana Plugs...

No...that connector won't fit into the 3S. It came with a 2S too, but this is a 3 cell lipo.

Balancing tap huh? Never heard of that. I bought the battery and charger/balancer/thermal probe...

Well the frustration factor just rose a few degrees.
I did buy a 12V motorcycle battery to use as a power supply. I did go that far. But really, how is one to know that you have to solder all...

I have a Triton2 charger, cell balancer and thermal probe.
I have an E-Flite Byp Yak and these accessories:
This motor.
This ESC.
These batteries.

Ah...ok. It's a replacement prop. I get it now.

Colder air will give you more lift and efficiency.

What is your altitude. That could be affecting your flight performance.

In this takeoff something happened to the left motor when pushed to full-throttle just after the wheels lifted off.
