AA5BY, It doesn't require anything, just bump it with the starter and it runs like a champ again.

No, I have not checked the head temp but the engine shows no signs of over heating that I can see. I did have to lean the HS needle slightly after installing this muffler.

I just started mine out at the factory settings and only had to adjust the HS needle a few clicks. So far, I have not needed to touch the LS needle. Idle and transition are great. RS
