I had a plane and ran a 11 X 7 .. It seemed to do very well ..... ( They plane was very heavy custom built Bi Plane.) I bought it because it was cheap with great Servos and a Never Run Irvine .53 ......

I used 9cm on the tip and yes very nose heavy. I moved the battery to the same place as the receiver. that helped and is only slightly nose down ( Irvine .53).

To add a good word about the arf edge 540 .46 , This kit was easy to build instructions were great. Ok the engine mount has something to be desired and the screws with it suck, So I used my own...

High PLanes what prop are you using on your irvine .53 as I have the same setup , I am using an 11-7 prop I was thinking of using an 11-6 or 11-8( I think it is to much pitch)
