RE: Crosswind correction in a loop

RE: Rev Up Propellers

I used Rev-up props when I couldn't get my hands on a Y&O prop (Yates and Orwick) tops in U-control pattern but great on my Merco 61 and my Kwik Fli 2.

RE: What do old timers think about 2.4Ghz?

I remember ttpw (too tedious to piddle with) aka galloping ghost. What a boon was the discovery of reed banks, home built and used GM auto headlight dimmers relays. I am back in after 40 years off...

RE: Turborix 2.4 Ghz 6 Channel radio

RE: Hog Bipe Build - 2009

what we have here is a biplane conversion of Fred Dunn's Astro Hog the first step up from Howard Bonner's Smog Hog. Many top pattern flyers switched to the Astro Hog including Bob Dunham, of Orbit...

RE: Maxey Hester

I remember Maxey from a contest in Omaha Nebraska. I admired his ability to squat on his haunches while working on his plane. As I recall he may have been flying a ship with galloping ghost control...

RE: Ed Kazmurski's Taurus

What a great surprise to hear about Ed Kazmirskis Taurus. I was fortunate enough to build the Taurus from a set of plans before it was kitted. I painted it up to resemble an airliner with windows...

RE: Is a Foamie a Good Second Plane?

Hate to disagree with some of the advice you have been given. Yes a foamie is an excellent second plane. I would stick with a high wing monoplane with trike gear and full house. (rudder, aileron,...

I too belonged to the AMA in the good old days and also was proud to display my number on all my planes (in those days you had room for the number ) now it takes a biplane to display all the...

RE: Transmitter Neck Straps

I have been cleaning my garage and unearthed my old r/c equipment. A vintage Orbit used back in the days that I tested Bob Dunhams creations and a Kraft that I purchased just as soon as Phil had it...
