no super cub ever takes off like a rocket. unless of course its got a rocket on it hmmm. ill get back to you on that.

the 11/7 prop is the compromise I came up with for the floats. my cub is heavy it has aelerons and reinforcement in the landing rear frame plus several grams of epoxy in it already. as for the flight...

ream it out till it fits the shaft then make sure it balances. I always end up with the hole slightly off center thats why i use the apc props instaed of trying to ream out the gws ones straight

use a apc 11/7 instead the adapters fit the prop shaft and all it needs is a washer on the back. the washer in the front centers the prop and everything sits nice and neat.

I gotta get a little more umpf outa my cub. its just got nothing with the floats on it. Plus its gained some weight from its steady diet of epoxy while i was learning to fly it.

I believe it I had a tx failure with the stock equipment and went straight in no holds barred I had to replace the fuse it was so bad yet the stock motor is still going strong

Im using the futaba c7 mainly because of crazy throttle and rudder issues. I dont about the spectrums.

after you make a post go back and atach with the edit button ill be sending out the battery box saturday if you look at the post earlier this week youll see a post about reinforcing the landing gear...

Ya itzobi the cut off is probably set rong especially if your old batteries were snafu. check your esc again and maybe set it up again on the auto detect to see if that changes any thing.

are you using the stock radio or a upgrade? with the stock one i never could get it to stop glitching no matter what I tried so i switched to 2.4. when I went to get my t28 a couple of the guys there...

Having trouble in the cold weather got skis on it lands ok wont fly right(correct) throttle dosnt come up all the way servos are realy slow

Ok after some looking about and asking many questions I still couldnt find anybody who knows suppo. what i did get is that there may be a battery setting on your esc for lipo or nimh and to check...

send the esc in and make them send you a new one unless its the stock one then just upgrade

Also further back in this thread are the instructions for changing the stock rx esc combo to accept a lipoif youve done already then its time to change out the rx tx and esc to something more suited...
