Evening all,

I'm looking at putting together a plane to fly in our Club's Heavy Lift contest. So far, I'm leaning toward using a NexStar with a .46 (most engine allowed for Nitro class). Engine...

RE: Anybody Flying a GP Super Sportster 40 Mkll ARF?

I have the .40 sized SS. I use mine as more of a speed plane as it has an O.S. 55AXin it. I think you'll find it pretty equivalent to the Escapade and the 4 Star in terms of capabilities and...

RE: Smoking Fuel?

This sounds like you're looking for a Smoke System. I'd be a little little cautious about additives to the fuel itself to create more than the average required smoke due to what it could do to your...

RE: Proper mid-air attempted ribbon cutting crash etiquette

Yep. You both decided to do this, hopefully knowing in advance that something like this could be the end result. No harm, no foul as far as I can see. If it were your pane that went down would you...

RE: Home for a Saito 72

My home could use another one. Send it my way. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif

I had mine on an Escapade. Aside from having to check all screws...

RE: New to 2.4 buying on R/C

I use Spektrum myself, but going to 2.4 with them Futaba, Airtronics or Hitec is a good way to go. No Freq. pin issues or shootdowns possible.

Unless you want to move and reprogram Rx's you will...

RE: Keeping Non Members off the field

It's a coop type arrangement. The County owns and does some maintenance on the land. The facilities were built over the years by the Club with their own money and we maintain the same. One of the...

RE: NOTAM for Atlanta, GA - I'm Flyin Mad!

This NOTAM was for one 10a-3p period on a Monday here in ATL. That's it. This has also become standard procedure when one of our Executive Jets hits town, which ain't that often. In fact, this is the...

Afternoon all. I just picked up this plane and am planning on building it with a Thunder Tiger 75 4S and a 12x8 prop, DS 821 Servos, AR6200 Rx and a Lipo Rx batt. I'm not looking for this one to be a...

RE: Lipo Charger

The PZ provided chargers will stop charging once the battery has reached capacity. No worries there.

If you're looking for something more efficient, you might want to look into one of these two:...

The UPS Store or a Pak Mail type of place can come up with the boxing for you, and then IMO Greyhound would be the way to go for actual shipping.

RE: Converting an Alpha 40 to a 2 blade prop

I left the flywheel weight on mine and put on an 11x6 prop. This woke it up quite a bit.

RE: U-Can-Do Saito 100 or OS 91fx?

I just maidened a U Can Do 60 today with a Magnum 91 FS. The engine's new so I'm still running it pretty rich and it still pulls this plane around just fine.

It's not a speed plane and GP has a...

RE: Dual Elevator Servos programming and DX6i

A Reminder not to let the plane get over your head....

.....and into the Sun. Brought this down on the roof of the Pavillion over the benches at our Club. Thankfully, it was so hot that only one other pilot was there, and he was in the Restroon.
