My follow-on fuselages are 1/8" doorskin (liteply) with no cutouts for the formers, and one layer of 6 oz cloth on the forward bottom for dent resistance and grippability.

It's a good airplane. The fuselage is fragile.. it will break at each joint where the bulkheads insert.. but other than that, there's no problems.
