The AUW on some of the new barons we have built here with batteries is about 14.5 - 15 lbs.
The baron in the video is a 15 lbs airplane and flies very well.
This was using micro and mini...

The e-flite retracts are drop in. You will need 85 degree for the wing and 105 for the nose. The only thing you need to do is on the nose. It will install from the top. Meaning to open the nose...

I should have the new updated electric retracts in to test this week. If they are approved, then I will have production start up. Its a bit more complicated than expected. They are really nice...

I am expecting the shipment to arrive shortly and will start shipping the back ordered retract sets next week.

Ok, so this is what I found
The E-flite retracts for the mains, work great and drop right in.
The nose gear has some problems.
1. its not 105 degree, so it looks a bit funny
2. Does not fit...

I will let you know about the e flite retracts tomorrow in conjunction with the struts.
I have a few sets in the shop. I know they fit in the wing, but have not tried with the struts.

The objective of the bonanza is to offer it at a price that everyone can afford but still keep many of the scale details. And I promise the retracts will be available for this airplane.
