well just about any hobby shop in the us will be able to get you the steel gears, the top gear is steel i think in the later black chassis models but if not you can get that as well

you can use the rear arms with spacers up front or find a set of hpi arms (cant remeber the truck they are from) and bolt them right up

&00 uses 5mm shaft so the stock pinion would only work if drilled out, i was only brave enough to mount a 650 in mine[:o] but it keeps the stock 4mm shaft size

well right now the hot cheap combo is hobby city packs with an ez-run 60amp esc w/ motor combo but at the risk of another crazy lipo argument i personaly can vouch for the ez-run but im a diehard fan...

well it depends on if the esc can handle both sensored and sensorless. the gtb for example can only handle sensored but the vxl esc can handle both.

you can do it even easier than that, 2 pieces of alm and 2 screws and 2 spacres and it can be extended plenty, add in a set of turnbuckle braces and bam! super stiff super strong setup

the pede has a shorter wheelbase so it may fit weird but you could always extend your pede to fit the body;)
