Yes, of course. That is the reason for the question. Propellers of different size/pitch would place a different load on the secondary shaft. Since it is not directly driven, the rpm would vary...

What determines the propeller rpm on turboprop setups? Is it solely a "gear ratio" controlled by the turbine rpm; propeller size and pitch; or a combination of all of the above?
