It could be a faulty Rx, check all the program parameters and disable all the mixes to be sure. Active mixes
may be messing things up.

There is another inexpensive radio made by the same company, it's only 4 channels and it is not programmable.

You can use only the main receiver, just unplug the satellite Rx but be aware that the redundancy and reception will be compromised. The case from the Rx could be removed to save weight, maybe...

What vendor? You could get one in the other mode and swap the spring over to the other stick. The software make it easy to switch modes :P

That could come in handy, releasing the Tx ina sim to deploy gear or flaps by keyboard can be a pain.
