Do your own research. Both trucks are very strong. Some people have had problems with the 5.9, and I'm sure the MGT 8.0 isn't perfect. Why not get a Flux. Faster, and almost maintenance free

T4 then. It does have weak front A arms, but I think the RC10T4.1 has beefed up A arms. Its a pretty tough truck, but if your just bashing, them I might give another look at the rustler.

Use you use the the tape mod around the drive shaft to prevent rocks from getting in, if you haven't already . I was looking at a Slash 4x4 myself.
