Ok well that's more or less what I do. I find that RC heli's are WAY less fun when are not in the air.

With my new motors, I got a new extreme Lipo too.

So what is the deal with Lipo? Are there magic rules like there are with Ni-Cad? Like you HAVE To run them down to zero before charging? Or NEVER...

The straight edge of the blade is the leading edge. Upper and lower spin in opp directions.

They are tightened JUST enough to be snug in the grip. The will still fold back

I keep breaking the Extreme blades right at the grip. I wish there was a way to glue the root back on. The blade is pristine. I've killed about 6 or 7 Extreme blades like that.

More outdoor flying last night. I was pushing the motors for sure. I went at least 5 or 6 mins nearly non-stop. Motors were practically glowing.

Sufficed to say it all ended with a blade strike...

Well that was pretty cool. I just managed to use up a battery outdoors for the first time. Dead calm out. Dark too....a few near misses with my trees. But must have had it 50 feet in the air...good...

Wowie do the motors ever get hot.

I brought my hei to work today to try it in the shop/warehouse. I've never been able to fly it in one continuous flight as long as I did today. 2-3 mins. DAMN...

Hmm. What if.....and I'm grasping at straws here....if you hold onto it, and spool it up enough so that it feels essentially weightless in your hand and then try the same experiment with the cyclic?

I'm not certain, but I don't think the 4 in 1 controls the cyclic really. The 4 in 1 is more to control the relative speeds of the counter rotating rotors.

Might want to check to see that your swash plate isn't bent. I'ts REALLY soft aluminium....Can't be more than T0. I noticed that mine was bent once and so my swashplate leveling was all out of whack
