It really sounds like an air leak somewhere. An air leak at the carb or crank case would be problematic when it comes to fuel draw.

I've used it in buggy engines for a season and never had a bearing failure due to lube or rust.;) Piston wear as as expected though, the pinch went south at an acceptable rate.

I believe Morgan Fuels have has changed it's lubrication package in Cool Power in the last couple of years.
