RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

Everything seems to spin freely.  I haven't opened the diffs yet.  I haven't had the time to take it all apart.  Brakes are free except when braking.  I do have a fuel filter and the tires are stock.

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

It is shifting it's just taking longer than it should. I can tell the power is not there but Iwas trying to keep the temps under control as Iwas racing at a track for the first time. Obviously it...

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

How many shims total do you have? Ihave tried 2 or 3 shims, medium and cold plugs, 15% and 20% nitro. None if it helps my temps stay down. Ihave the Nova head and it helps keep it cool a little...

I got a chance to run my truck on an actual track tonight. It was my first time doing anything other than running around my backyard. I didn't do too bad. Didn't make a fool of myself and had a lot...

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

I'm sure it's fun but stupid fast is the perfect description. You made more laps at a leisurely pace because he couldn't keep that thing tire side down.

I got a chance to drive mine again for...

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

According to ALFFA they both fit. I am looking to get the Orion for the slightly increased capacity and lower price. Duratrax has a 3x2 hump with 1600mah for $21.99. I don't know if one brand has...

I need to start researching chargers. I have no idea what to get. Something that works for all my R/C batteries would be nice as well as something that will work with new batteries I might need. I...

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

So far as I know you shouldn't tune the low speed until you tune the high speed. The HSN feeds the LSN so changes to the HSN will affect the LSN as well. LSN should affect your acceleration from...

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?

I think my exhaust seal is where I'm getting my oil leakage from. I have the stock motor and pipe. Do you know which HPI seal you used for this combo? Or do they only have one.
