The 120 fits easily just a small amount of material had to be cut on the lower chin of the cowl/airscoop. I have the JU 87 'B' type the instructions show underwing airscoops, I did a...

RE: 26cc ESM WARBIRDS READY TO SHIP!!!

I guess I will go with the CA hinges, I took me a while to figure out how to get in the elevator joiner/bellcrank but the 90 degree bends that go into the elevators were not parallel so I took it out...

That was a very encouraging video, it flys well with a RCV 90 I think the 120 Four Stroke should be fine, now I can go on to mounting the engine. There is one more question does the...

Isnt the power of the 2 stroke 108 equal to that of a 4 stroke 120. I think the 108 rotates a 15 x 6 prop at around 10300 RPM.

RE: 26cc ESM WARBIRDS READY TO SHIP!!!

What engine size do you you suggest the mufflers on the 2 strokers would really mess up the cowl and a larger 4 stroke is not available here.

RE: DL-50 engine

Hi Joe

I re-tunned and checked the RPM, max I could achieve was 6750 RPM cant lean any more than that, RPM begin to fall after 30 secs or so. Plane flys much better than with the 22 x 10,...

RE: DL-50 engine

Joe

I will re-tune this Sunday at the field with a 22 x 8 on it and check the RPM, do you think the DL-50 can provide sufficient thrust for IMAAC aerobatics at 19 lb Wt.

Chad I dont think...

RE: DL-50 engine

I have installed my DL-50 on a Magic Hand CAP 232, the plane was way too tail heavy and I had to add 1.75 lb Wt in the cowl to balance and now I have ended up with a 19.5 lb model. I am running a 22...

RE: DL-50 engine

Its better that you use a 2000 maH or higher battery for the ignition since the current draw can go as high as 800 ma at full throttle. At this draw the voltage on a smaller pack will fall quite a...
