been there and did that with all the sealing tricks, increased fuel line and filter, ect, it did run great but liked running at 260-270 best, and had a short life span

Bashing?? we actually had a moster truck class at Granger Offroad this past sat and I won the first two heats with the stock rtx I bought off of will clark from here on the list, then the spur came...

was an easy fix, popped the outer hinge pins and swap the hub carriers, probably could have got away with changing toe angle with the screw from the hub to hub carrier but man those hinge pins needed...

Thanks will I got the rt-x27 a couple of days ago, should be able to get it up and running pretty easy, now I just need the time and weather to motivate me. Probably be in the spring. Gary

Well They finally had a couple of other monster trucks show up to race at Granger Offroad Remote Control Raceway and I ran my warhead with the hpi 4.6 and won the a-main against a coule of traxxis...

I did try changing batteries but the improvement was miniscule it went from no servo movement to the problem I had described earlier

Ok I think I have the hpi 4.6 running well but now the steering and throttle response is anemic and slow and delayed, I had a 1600mah 5 cell hump pack in it but it is now in my Team Losi XXX-nt I do...

look great I just mounted up some warhead tires on the chrome 13 hole rpm rims but traction is terrible on my local track so I will reglue the bad spots on the rtx tires for tomorrow ps how much did...

larger tires will give more mph but you will lose take off power ie torque and put more stress on the driveline, going up a tooth on the clucth bell will increase mph with the same downsides,...
