I mean if you charge it with a regular single battery charger not the duo lol. You would have to get a Y harness for the the power and a harness for the balance port right?

If you charge both of the packs in parallel wouldn't it take just as long if not longer then charging them separately (assuming your balance charging)? Someone told me it was dangerous too

anything above 4000 is okay. I need packs with a good quality wire and good soldering jobs. The last packs I got from china performed good but they were poorly constructed.

I ordered my lipos like two weeks ago still waiting for them to come. I'm going to order some a123 cells and make 2 or 3 5s packs for when brushless gets here :D. There is no way I would ever pay...

Ty , its a venom body I got from ebay. 15$ shipped. Just have to paint it. Since I took the pictures I've takin a lot of the venom decals off. I secretly hate venom and I just didn't have any other...

Well I just took the motors apart , both the motors coms have small chips in each of the sections. The motor that's getting hotter has the bigger chunks missing. I could get them cut again but I...

I don't understand how this would burn the truck up though? in theory shouldn't the evx put the batteries in a series . My friend ran his revo several times with this set up and I have too. I'm not...

Ty sir. I still need to order some cvds and extended chassis braces. I would like aluminum just to match the rest of the truck but I cannot justify paying that much for a part that doesn't take much...

Sounds like a plan, I think my lipos are coming tomorrow anyhow. So do you think that would cause the problem with the motors?

And almost finished! waiting for my lipos to get here, then In a week or two I'll order my brushless system. I need to find a dogbone that will fit the center rear.

I have the old school evx and I'm running a 6 cell 1500 nicad and a 7 cell 3000 nimh (Waiting for lipos in the mail). After playing with the truck for several minutes one motor is way to hot to touch...
