We used to use a wood dowel inserted into spark plug hole to set timing on my Triumph " flat tracker" 650 Bonneville . Seemed like it was about .375" before TDC. Be sure it,s long enough to keep it...

Have no Idea what was wrong, but I tried everything under the sun. 30 Homie ran fine on a Zama I confiscated off our Craftsman weedie. So I sent it back and Pete sent my money back. Will try one...

Sent my WT 433 back to Wacker and recieved my $ back . Still need a new carb . Are there any other resources other than Wacker engines.?

Brand new radio , but no channel 6 . It seems to stay centered, but will not rotate with transmitter on.
How can I tell if its the RX or TX?

Edwin , I bought the 433 and two kits but still had to make a base gasket. Still not sure about this carb. She just wont take any throttle

Thanks Jim , I got it to run but only at idle. As soon as I give a little throttle it starts to die out.

Yep, I checked that out and found the carb base gasket to be some what soft, but I dont think its enough to block the passage/port.
Will take a closer look tomorrow, and maybe make a new gasket. ...
