As you can see, that isn't a Red Head, it's a Black Head. I don't know if the heads are similar
with the Bolt Pattern or the combustion...

It misses the Head and at least the needle. The Needle Valve is there, but w.o the nut.

Yes, I think this is a very early MVVS.
Next I want to mention, that sand casting and therefore the raw finish isn't a sign of poor quality in my eyes,
mostly it is a sign of a low volume...

Enya's HP Numbers are always on the lower side... you get more out of them easily.
(I don't own any Fox and the statement above is only from reading some test results)

It's not really needed to rough up the cylinder in a 2cycle engine. On a normal 4cycle the roughness is good to hold the oil on the surface and to make a good oil seal.

Yes Frank is makeng Dykes rings also, sent him a P&L Set for an 6,5ccm MVVS with broken Dykes Ring sometimes before and he made one for me. This MVVS is now on the List of Engines he makes Rings for....
