RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

Yeah - I see your point...most of the bigger 3DHS planes would need a DLE-30 or bigger, and the smaller ones are really designed for electric power. Hopefully you are right and we will see more...

SpinnerRow,
If you haven't owned a 3DHS airframe before, you don't know what you are missing.
Buy one of the $100 or $150 airframes just so you can see how they are built.
They are built light and...

That sounds great; I found plans for a 30cc size Twist; I was thinking of building that and putting my DLE-30 on it!

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

I had the same problem with my DLE-30 - gap was too small - and this solution worked for me.
There is a DLE-30 thread, or I'm sure this group can handle the questions as well.
What airframe do you...

Not sure where the servo comes in; most kill switches (that I've seen) are hooked directly into a channel on the RX.

PDF attached which explains how to wire in a kill switch.

Airtronics makes a great radio - the SD10G; they also have the tried and true RDS 8000 which is a very economical and extremely reliable 2.4ghx system that supports up to 8 channels.

Another option if you haven't already used it is to use the battery connector; on my Airtronics radios the battery and channel 8 share the same connection (this is an 8 channel RX) so I have a Y...

Good to know! Did you have a different motor on your FW-190 before the DLE-20? If so, which engine/prop?

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)
