This is the one I use and it's good for all batteries even lipos. Also very appealing price. Haven't had any problems with it at all. Have not charged Lipos on it though.

I'm sorry I should have been more specific. I am gonna get an offroad kit. Planned on narrowing it down some more tonight. Got it down to 19 last night.

That sound to me like a safety feature with your car. Don't know what actually causes it if it's the ESC or whatever. I do know my RC18 does it too. It's so you don't burn up your gears. It's a delay...
