Try reverse engineering. undo the last mod ( maybe the fan hook-up) and see if that makes a difference.

No bigger then that. Without taking my turret apart ( will do tomorrow) it's like a good 1/4 wide and about 2-3 inches uncommpressed. I'll take pics on Fri.

If no posts a pics, I have an Pantiger that uses the same spring. I'll take the turret apart and send some pics. Won't have time until Fri afternoon though.

It sounds like the spring that kept pressure on the barrel for the elevation unit to work. I would think you could locate a very similar spring in any good hardware store or hobby shop even. When...
