Ooooops. Ijust remembered ....I could connect the opto-kill on a Y connector with the receiver power terminal (another advantage of Hitech receivers)but, I'm using throttle cutoff on my other gassers...

I believe there are several folks powering this plane with large 4 strokes. Check it out on YouTube and I think you'll find a couple of vidoes. Remember, this plane will weigh in around 14 to 15 lbs...

What's the advantage of mounting it while the gule is wet? Is there a problem with alignment otherwise?

I haven't been able to find carbon fiber dowl in the right diameter yet. I'm not a 3D flyer...

Ironic. Iwent from all electric to majority gas and glow. Istill have a couple of electrics but, haven't flown them in ages.
