I'd say it's only just touching now with a 0.2mm gasket (as you say it ran for a bit), change it for a 0.5mm gasket, that will give you 12 thou clearance.

Still a lot of setting up to do, I didn't do anything because I've still got problems with the fuel tank that need sorting.
As it is I can only use just under half a tank before it starts missing....

It's 325mm wide. From where the center of the exhaust port on my engine to the transom is 490mm, and from what you've said the diameter of a QD hotpipe is about the same as my cooper cobra.

Yes it is. Fits perfectly with my Cooper pipe, some other pipes might be a tight squeeze in this boat on that header.

It's a Cooper Cobra with an internal stinger, so hopefully won't be too loud. I've got a silencer on standby just in case.
