The receiver is a model R156F (in a frequency to match your transmitter - use your old crystal).

According to the link you listed: 8% of the float length . . . which is 80% of the fuselage length.

Let us know how they work out.  Never owned an Avistar but have "guested" one and seen several locally and they seem like a good candidate for floats.
