On the single line converter does one have to use male to male connectors not the standard extension that is male/female? It appears to me but you do not specify on the website.

Anyone reading this and having a problem with the cable should do a search on several sim forums. Ikarus has a defective cable and they are not taking care of it. They are just asking for more money....

My AFPD cable just failed. After searching on a few forums I am finding out that the AFP cables have a problem failing. Mine is only 4 years old. These should last, really for a lot longer than that....

I had AFPD but the dongle died; I have my doubts they will replace the dongle and if they tell me to buy another, well, maybe we should just switch and try G5 since the LHS has them for 170 buck...

AFP says "unable to locate USB interface cable. Please plug the interface cable into a free USB plug" I tested my USB on both computers they work fine. Rebooted the computers to see if it changedAFP...
