Digital or not with new Futaba 3PK?

dg2b is correct...if you use analog servos with the HRS receiver, you will toast the servos.

You're right the R1 does have a superior background but Futaba also been around a long time. It's a tough decision. I just can't up my mind. I know my LHS has sold a lot of them and no of them have...

Thanks Ram!! I just thought you may have chosen it because of side by side comparision of another radio. Great impulse buy!! I'm using a JR XR3i right now and its all right... It's strange when R1...

Thats a good deal Ram... the first thing you should notice is the LCD screen is bigger. Apparently, it has faster processing time. This is what Horizon Hobby told since JR don't make the silver...

Yup! XS3 is the cheapest system out there for going crystalless. No need for Novak equipment. It does have a good feel, like my XR3i, but a little light for me. I like heavier radios.

Thats a heck of a deal...the lowest I've found is Ace Hardware Hobbies for $659.99. They normally sell for $749. Go for it!! You don't even have to pay sales tax...lucky!!

Synthesized receiver is crystalless. If you match it up with Novak's sythesized switch module, then the entire radio is crystalless. This option is ONLY available on the Lynx 3D and M8.

I found someone on Ebay that can special order Fioroni parts for the Mugen. I have to email them the part numbers. I keep you guys posted.

My buggy looked the same way after I came with a run with the BMX's. But I broke a rear shock shaft in the process :( Gettin' some big bores now. BTW, what weights are you using?

Todd, All pictures in magazines and Mugen's site are CAD drawings. Haven't seen any actual photos yet. Hopefully soon since the buggy is due out next month sometime.

Horizon Hobby is the exclusive distributor for JR. They have "new" version of the R1 for $389.99 PCM w/330 receiver ($349.99 PPM w/200 receiver), new version has the "bling-bling" gold accents....
