RE: Thunder Cat 31

Just put that engine in your TC31. Common sence says this engine vill perfor better than the stock .32. STS is dyno-tested to 1,6 hp at 25000RPM. By far more than the stock .32:D

RE: Thunder Cat 31

Just be careful. I've heard that the TC31 does not handle speeds above 40 mph so well. You should not push is it so hard. Be safe, run it below 40 mph, there is no reason for pushing the limit;).

RE: Thunder Cat 31

Have you got time to test the speed yet? We are waiting for your readings! Awsome setup with the purple-pipe. Have your mods on the engine been successful?

RE: Thunder Cat 31

From my point of view, it looks like this is a copy of the Hatori #350 tuned flat disc pipe. Just Engines in Great Britain have them. Nice price and good service. link:...

RE: Starting a Big Nitro, HELP

The .91 ASP is not timed for hig RPM. From my tests carried out with airplane props and experience with this engine mounted in a heli (with heli cooling head), best performance is in the 12000-14000...

RE: AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydro Thread_Make it Fast!

Hi,
I just ordered the Miss Vegas VI. I was hoping that is was on stock in my LHS, but was sold out. Luckily, they had it in the central store and they will send her to me :D. I read that...

RE: Starting a Big Nitro, HELP

I'm using a HD starter and a 4s 2500mah LiPo for my starter. This cranks my .91 ASP like a breeze. I've found that the LiPo's give better start burst than the heavy motorcycle batteries. If it's cold...

RE: AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydro Thread_Make it Fast!

Thank you for very good information. Based on what you say here and since I'm goining to put a bigger engine into the hull, I'll think the best choice is the Miss Vegas V1.

RE: AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydro Thread_Make it Fast!

Yes this is my concern also. The "duce" can probablyget too high on the nose in speeds over above 50 mph. Then it may want to flip over. My LHS does not have a "good price" for the V1, it vill cost...

RE: AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydro Thread_Make it Fast!

I'm going to buy a Vegas today, but should I go for the Duce (Tower Hobbies) or a V1 fron my LHS? The plan is to put in a bigger engine STS .28, STS .30, O.S .46 or similar. I want pure...
