I use a hobbywing 80A esc with no problem once you remove the stock esc mount. just zip tie it down.

I am running the stock motor with a hobbywing 80A esc.  i havn't run it on 4S yet......  I don't know if the motor can handle it...</p>

I havn't clocked mine yet, but I run a 80A ESC on 4S.... pretty quick

My ESC went up in smoke. Sent it in and HPI is sending me another... In the mean time Iput in my 80 Amp ESC from 1 of my Redcat trucks..... This thing is a beast!!! And it's 4S ready, Ijust don't...

[:@] It seems HPI can't find my ESC after it was delivered on 2/17/12!!!!  Has anybody had this experience?

Well HPI has had my ESC for a few days now and I havn't heard from them.... What has been evrybody else's turn around time?

Update.... HPI contacted me and just gave me a reference number and to send the ESC back.... ESC's in the mail!
