RE: My RC10GT with a 2.5

Thanks guys! Its not quite as fast as my 3.3 jato was, but I like the chassis layout a lot better and it is still more than fast enough.

Some of the 2.5's had the metal colored head. All the...

My RC10GT with a 2.5

I bought this blue chassis RC10GT about a month ago and it has been an extremely busy month for me since I just got moved into my new house 2 weeks ago, but I have been working on this truck some and...

RE: Most interesting break-in to-date

Do none of you run your starter box off of your vehicles battery? That would be the cheapest option no doubt, but not always as easy since you have to be close to your vehicle to do it. Also, I would...

RE: And the fun continues: smoking batteries

I dont think what happened had anything to do with charging at 2 amps.

I would reccomend not charging receiver batteries at over 1 amp, but regardless, I have charged them at 2 amps before as...

RE: Looking for a good rc for my son

Oh, and for batteries and chargers if you go electric, hobbypartz.com or hobbyking.com have some great batteries and chargers for literally half the price of other places.

RE: Looking for a good rc for my son

I think all these would fit you pretty well depending on the category you choose. They will all handle the grass decent and as has been mentioned, thick grass slows down all r/c's quite a bit so its...

RE: New Nitro 2WD Slash

I think its pretty neat myself. I can guarantee that its waay overpowered with the 3.3. My RC10gt with the 2.5 is plenty powerful enough to get out of control. Of course im not saying its a bad thing...

RE: pricing...why so subjective?

Just because they are asking doesent mean they are getting ;)

Regardless, its hard to find stuff cheap. I often buy good deals just to resell and make money, etc.. I bought a RTR black chassis...

RE: Hpi mt2 problems

I dont know what your needle settings are supposed to be, but it sounds like you have your low speed needle closed off too far. You need to richen (counter clockwise) the low speed needle until the...

RE: HPI Savage 4.6 or AE MGT 8.0 if given the choice?

I've had two savages and three MGT's. The Savages are tougher than the MGT's by a decent bit. The MGT is a little easier to work on, especially if you are changing the gearing or something of that...

I have noticed the VXL setups go for around $80-100 or so depending on condition, etc... I really like the waterproof aspect of it even though I dont really much run in water. I...

RE: need help on nitro ID

I doubt it :) Im not much on having stuff you cant get parts for. There are several r/c's that were decent but didnt last long enough to have any real parts support which is a shame.

RE: Unlimited*********.com

My guess is that they decided if they are going to scam someone, they are going to do it right and get 5k in one blow. Otherwise everyone buying a single cheap rc from them will blow their scammer...

The Jato's shocks are original. They are kind of a larger bore, shorter shaft shock. They work pretty well though.
