GG was built in 1944 so it was a 66 year old airplane. Shortly afterward it went up for public sale for around $3500.00

It was crashed in 1969 and rebuilt in the 1970s. wrecked again in 1979,...

Agreed, it's all semantics.

Boost tab = Spring tab, servo tab, flattner tab, balance tab are all the same thing.
