I have glassed my airplane and am almost ready for paint

The biggest problem with slow retracts is the interference drag theycreate.   They dont look scale, but thats really not so bad.  As thegear retract the amount of drag they create will go up NOT...

One more quick question.. and it may be the root cause of my problem... I left the muffler pressure connected after I plugged the pump in... will this affect the pump/mixture setting?

Jaka,
    It is a normal set up.. side mounted os-70 fs  and tank right behind.  I cant get the tank to the correct level due to the bulkhead, and without a pump the mixture changes as the tank...

Can someone please tell me what your HS needle setting is?  I know this will vary with temp and altitude.. I am just curious.  Mine seemed fine at 1 1/2 turns is this normal?  I am hooking up a VP-20...

Since the question was never answered... I will ask again.  I have an OS 70 FS and a perry pump.  At full throttle the engine sounds like its super rich.. I cant lean it to the point where it sounds...

     Just a quick update.  I have the wng done and the retracts mountes.. they work great, I may need to shim one to make them match perfectly.. but they look great.  The fuse is well...
