Their are quite some fotos to work from building your own jumper. Their is also a german file to build a small jumper that comes with measurements. As for the chute that is many trial and error....

Labour cost and again labour cost. Thats where the money goes into. And then quality. Buy cheap and get cheap. Time and much more time is spend to make these jumpers and chutes. DIY that is the cheap...

I think this can work. The CG of the diver must be set correct or you might get the head to heavy and start tumbling. But that is all part of the fun. I will surely look into this.

The past weekend we made a few jumps in the night. Like very late and very dark. We did not gear up for this and only mounted a headlite to the jumper. Now it looks like this can be great fun.
