RE: Cubic inches to wingspan?

Go to the Tower Hobbies website and click on the "airplanes" link. They have them categorized by engine displacement. You can get an idea of what size engine goes with what size plane but it will...

RE: Set screw sized for E-Flite Park 180 x-mount

If it's smaller than 2-56 it is probably an M2.0 x .4 or M1.6 x .35. I just went through the same deal on a larger E-Flite motor.

RE: Why can't RC flying be more like Bowling?

I think RC is a lot like golf and fishing: you have a lot of expensive equipment that has to be well maintained, you have to plan your outings ahead of time and make sure your equipment in packed...

RE: Alpha 4 Charge cables

I still like my Alpha 4 chargers also but I have not found any cables that can be used without modifying. They are fairly easy to make: 2.5 mm power connector, 36 inches of 18 guage wire, and a...

RE: Psychology of RC flying

A few years ago I was at the field and a guy was there with an electric plane that had a video camera mounted on it. He wanted to try to get some air to air video with another plane. I had an old...

RE: sanding sealer before covering

You will have a lot less trouble with bubbles and wrinkles if you don't seal the wood underneath the covering. Monokote especially needs to be able to "breathe".

RE: Do you still remember your first rc helicopter?which brand?

Mine flew quite well, but I had to make several modifications mainly using tighter springs on the control arms. It crashed when the solder joint on the throttle spring failed pushing the throttle to...
