slower steering, easier to control especially for beginners. Possibly long fast tracks too.? Make sure the servo doesn't strain against the ends by using too much (the servo-saver will protect too)

Hi, welcome to RCU. I think you are correct. It should turn much shorter than that. Mine does. Most transmitters have a dual rate knob on them that will control the throw in both directions. If yours...
