with twin drives wouldn't you have to worry about them being high up the hull to a point that when turning one may start sucking air or even when at speed they could suck air?

its worth a shot.

does anyone have a graupner jet drive they want to sell? or a place in the states that sells them?

i took the little aluminum piece that connects the motor and impeller and drilled out the motor size to a little over 3.1mm which is my motor shaft size. once i did that i was able to use set screws...

the ABS plastic is much stronger than it looks and feels. it is very unlikely you will hurt it. i have 2 of them and have dropped one, ran over rocks, painted, burned, and all around beat the crap...

ESC yes but that motor has an awful big shaft to be drilling out for. people have drilled out to 3mm before but that one is nearly 4mm and may be tough to get out.

someone else will need to chime...

no the mah is how you measure the amp. like your 1300mah is optimal to charge at 1.3 amps. unless its more than a 1c rating.
