as far as mini's go - the people at castle have said many times that while the RPM (top speed) changes, the torque remains the same

I suppose if you're running wide-open areas like parking lots and doing speed runs... it's just that people often mention something like "all you have to do is learn how to control the throttle" when...

like i said earlier, just for reference, a 4100kv BL motor is about the same speed as your stock 18R motor....eachstep up the ladder (4100, 5400, 6000, 6800, 8000, etc.)is about 25% faster.
