400 and the 450 are the same size heli. What makes them different is the motor. The motor is a bit taller and tad more power.

I fly a Blade 400 and it has a 28.5" blade span. The 400 class heli is pretty much middle of the road. The 500 is a bit larger and then the 600/700 is a huge jump in size..

One other thing to look at as well. Where can you fly it? With the big birds, you are more limited on where you can fly. The bigger you go, the more restricted you are going to be. Also as said, the...
