RE: Binding DX6i with AR6000

Greg..

Thanks for the info, but you're thinking a bit "old school". If you're flying 72 mhz, it's important that your transmitter is always the 1st to be powered and the last to be shut off since...

Binding DX6i with AR6000

Both of my planes with AR6000's are bound to my DX6i, but each time I want to fly them, it's a fight to get them to talk to each other. It used to take up to a minute and involved turning off the...

RE: Program DX6i T-28 Trojan with FLAPS

Works GREAT!! The best settings are GEAR to FLAP mix (MIX menu) at 70% for takeoff, and LAND flaps position (FLAPS menus) at 25%. Apparently, the percentage values are addative. For eaxample, 50%...

RE: Assembly Question: FMS Sky Trainer

kevinslep..

My LHS doesn't carry clevises that small either.. I had to go to the 2-56 size for my flap mod.. Before you start going all solder happy, maybe buy a pack of the 2-56 sized clevises...

RE: Assembly Question: FMS Sky Trainer

I see what you mean.. Does the spinner attachment plate fit snug against the spacer washer? The spinner attachment plate should fit all the way down the prop shaft and make contact with the spacer....

RE: Assembly Question: FMS Sky Trainer

Couple of possibilities:
1. The spacer that goes on first, make sure the beveled side is facing outward.
2. Take the spacer off and try it. I now run an 11 X 5.5 prop thats not a "slow flier"...

RE: I'm done with Nitroplanes, never again!

Just a thought, but have you range checked your transmitter? I had a very similar flight and it turned out my DX6 amplifier was bad. Worked perfectly but only had a range of about 75 feet. Make sure...

Thanks for the info.. I never thought about counteracting the P-factor or the cork-screwing effect of the prop-wash on the rudder... I'll make the adjustments.... Found the problem... My DX6...

RE: Assembly Question: FMS Sky Trainer

blvdbuzzard..

You are correct.. After some bench testing I found that loss of signal doesn't cause an AR6000 reboot.. So I must have had a powerloss or brownout.. Good news for my 2.4 ghz flying...

RE: 4 Channel FMS Skyline 182 - 55

Angel03,

Banana Hobby has it, but they are charging an outrageous $250 for it w/2.4ghz radio... You may want to contact them and maybe work a late Black Friday deal or have them pull the radio...

RE: 4 Channel FMS Skyline 182 - 55

GLS990,

Although this is my first 4 ch plane, I still think it's a great deal. With about $5 in parts from your LHS and about an hour of your time, this plane is un-beatable. It really does fly...

RE: 4 Channel FMS Skyline 182 - 55

RE: 4 Channel FMS Skyline 182 - 55

RE: Assembly Question: FMS Sky Trainer

Your aircraft looks good. I did do some bending to the main gear while I was trying to get it to stay in place prior to putting in the plexiglss plate. That may be the difference.

Ramius,

That sounds just right. Mine is 14 1/8 inches wheel to wheel measured at the center. Measured fully assembled but no battery.

I've been reading that ESC programming document. All the...
