If you can ever make it to an event, its worth it. I don't run much any more but go just to take a few pictures, mingle and enjoy the sights & sounds.

Thats something to keep in mind as the wings will need removing for transporation & storeage. Hopes are to also find a spot in my office for display from the ceiling and would prefer the gear be...

Surface drive is going to be fine on that boat. Go ahead and do it and you should be able to squeeze out some extra performance as well (though the boat isn't a speed demon, it will benefit).

Landing gear is giving me fits. Took the cheap route and ordered the HK retract servos here and they just don't fit porperly. Hobby King Retract Servo
Wonder if I should've went with the JR servos...
