RE: You MUST Have a Buddy With You When You Play

Well......unless the rule is written super clear, as in; what defines alone? how far away does someone else have to be? If you were flying "alone" and no one is near enough to be aware of it, then...

RE: Smoke Oil formulas

For Oregon, check with Tower on the 5 gal bucket. I think they have a dist center in Reno so shipping should be better than direct from MDW.

On the Skywriter pump, it has a cheapo $2 brushed...

RE: Using servo arm w/ bracket for ailerons

for a couple of bucks, you could get a package of servo arms from DuBro (make sure to get the ones for your brand of servos). These are heavy duty and will work for up to 50cc size aircraft.

RE: plans for Hall Springfield Bulldog

BigPhil, the GEEBEE R2 should be balanced at 18 to 20% of chord. This is a special planform/tail moment design. I fly my 72" GeeBee at 20% and it flies great.

I have a 85" 50cc GeeBee R2...

RE: How to drill servo holes?

Just take a piece of music wire, slightly smaller than the hole, for 1/16 dia, try a piece of .040, heck even a 1/16 wire will work. Just sharpen the end a little with a file to get a shovel point,...

RE: gasoline speed engine <30cc ??

Thanks for the link Rich. I did see that thread a while back but did not keep it in mind as most of my 3D/IMAC planes are 100 or 150cc.

I posted in the speed forum as I'm trying to decide if I...

RE: H9-DL50 What Rx. Battery is best?
