Jason, if you are getting into a 35% plane, then I would highly suggest you look past the DX7 and go with the JRX9303 2.4 ghz. It will cost more, but hopefully you will never crash your transmitter....

bobzilla, you could also use a throttle to throttle mix to adjust the throttle channel in airplane mode. Perhaps use this as a fine tuning method to the linkage mod you did.
